About Us
Dedication. Expertise. Passion.
We are a collection of perinatal-focused professionals from various backgrounds tied by a common thread - our passion for helping new families get the healthiest start possible, within a supportive community. We value diversity and the richness it brings to the human experience. We strive to provide access to community-based group programs that are inclusive, sensitive and honour each person's autonomy to self-identify.
We serve those who are "wishing" to be, "waiting" to be or "new" to being parents. Our services extend to those with children 3 and under.
Our Story
We are brought together by purpose. After watching the impact of the pandemic unfold on new families, we have become intent on swinging the pendulum back the other way ... and then some.
We are community helpers who have all benefited from the helping hands of others in our journey to build a family - or grieve losses. We are excited to return the favour and work to create a resilient, thriving community.
We rely on collaboration to create innovative ways to reach and serve people in our community. Below, meet our working group and find other friendly faces of helping professionals on specific program pages.

Registered Clinical Counsellor #3000
"Sometimes the smallest things take up the biggest room in our hearts." A.A. Milne.
There is no "one path" to building a family and the decision to begin such a journey - whatever the outcome - is life-defining. Having helping hands and the information you need, when you need it, can make all the difference.
Dr. Naiomi Sohi DC
Chiropractor - Maternal Health & Pediatrics
My main goal in clinic is to create a safe and open environment where moms are heard emotionally and restored physically.
Our mind and body don't work independently of each other. Creating an opportunity to relieve stress from your body with care and intention also supports your nervous system and how you're able to show up for yourself and your kiddos.

Certified Art Therapist
"Art speaks when words are unable to explain” – Teresa Peres
Using art and tapping into your natural creativity can have such a benefit on your mental wellness, your resilience, your ability to manage and adapt to stress. Being creative can be an invaluable tool.
Could this be You?
We are always up for meeting other perinatal professionals who might take on a leadership role or take part in some of our collaborations and programs.
When we work together for a purpose, everyone benefits! The goal of SRPWC is to provide community for professionals too!
